Centreville, VA – Virginia Senate President Pro Tempore and Chair of the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee, L. Louise Lucas, today announced her endorsement of State Senator Stella Pekarsky in her campaign for Congress in Virginia’s 11th District.

As one of the most powerful legislators in Virginia, Senator Lucas has led efforts that delivered record state funding for public education, secured tax relief for middle-class families, and defended Virginia values from right-wing attacks from Governor Glenn Youngkin. Her leadership has helped move Virginia forward—and she’s worked with Senator Pekarsky to get it done.
